Back to school today for 2 of my kids, tomorrow another one goes back, and next Monday Nikki goes back to Michigan State. With all the kids going back to school it is time for me to get busy on classes, workshops and Stamps By Mail again. Check out the upcoming classes on my calendar of events on my Stampin’ Up! website. You can get to my website by clicking on it in the left hand side bar or go to gcalkins.stampinup.net.
For today’s sample I went back to the Stamping 411 sketch challenge and used the new Create a Cupcake stamp set (#121915 $22.95 wood, #121982 $16.95 clear) that will be for sale tomorrow! I have been showing you lots of new stamp sets and samples so I’m sure you have a nice list of products you would like to purchase tomorrow. 🙂 Drop me an email or you can Order Online at my website here.
I used the new Build a Cupcake Punch #121807 $16.95 to punch out my stamped cupcake pieces. Love the punches that coordinate with the stamp sets; saves lots of time. I stamped the top of the cupcake using Pretty in Pink ink and stamped it on the same color card stock and then embossed it using iridescent Ice embossing powder. For the little cherry on top, I punched it out twice once in Chocolate Chip and once in Pretty in Pink. I cut the bottom off the Pretty in Pink cherry and glued it to the Chocolate Chip cherry giving it a chocolate covered cherry effect. Here’s a close up for you:
Have a Great Day!
