This Designer Series Paper is so pretty and I love that little splash of gold running through it. The piece on the front of this card was a left over scrap piece from another card. I thought it had just the right amount of white or very light pink to emboss the sentiment across it in gold.
My scrap piece of the Expressions in Ink DSP was the perfect size to fit inside the Scalloped Contours Die. I used a smaller scalloped die to cut out the center of the gold paper so now I have that nice piece for another card. Why cover up all that nice gold paper; cut out the center and use it for another card or project.
I like this Happy Birthday font that is in the Artistically Inked Stamp Set. It looks really striking with this Designer Paper and I just heat embossed it with gold embossing powder to go along with the gold in the paper and the scalloped gold edging.
