This week’s one sheet wonders cards feature the Share a Milkshake bundle and the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper. I thought the Sweet Sorbet checked print reminded me of summer and who doesn’t love ice cream in the summer; a perfect pairing wouldn’t you agree? The one sheet wonder pattern I used on these cards reminds me of a picnic cloth laid out on a beautiful sunny day enjoying an ice cream treat with family. These cards are perfect for birthday’s or maybe you just want to tell someone you are thinking about them.

These were my first go round with this one sheet wonder idea and I thought they were nice but when I looked at the sweet sorbet checked print I knew they had to be done in that print. In the video I called the cherry an apple; hahaha I don’t think I’ve ever had an apple on my ice cream; hmmm maybe I’m on to something. This bundle has some fun pieces to it to add to your ice cream and milkshakes; like the waffle cone, spoon, straw, dollops of whip cream or maybe hot fudge if you use early espresso cardstock and of course the cherry (or in my mind the apple).
Since the Pearls are no longer available and all sold out I went with the Rhinestones to add some bling to my cards. You can add a pop of color to the rhinestones by coloring them with the Blends; which I could have given my cards a pop of red by coloring the rhinestones with the Sweet Sorbet Blend; but opted to keep them they way they are.
Whether you sign up for my class or not I must tell you that the bundle is only sold in the bundle in this current mini catalog which will soon be retired. Once it has retired it will no longer be bundled. It is available in the New Annual Catalog but no longer discounted 10% because it is not bundled. You will have to purchase the stamp set separately from the dies.
