Are you looking for easy fun fold cards to make from just one sheet of designer series paper? Well, I’ve got you covered. Check out last night’s One Sheet Wonder cards using the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper. If you missed my live on my YouTube Channel “The Stamp Camp” last night, no worries as I have the video and downloadable project sheet down below in this blog post.
With my downloadable project sheet, you will be able to cut up your 12 X 12 designer series paper and turn it into 4 fabulous cards with no left-over pieces or strips. These cards can be created with any designer series paper you have on hand, but I will tell you there are some nice prints in the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper pack and the best part; it’s on SALE for 1/2 price! You will find the link in my shopping list.

With the way the designer series paper is cut up you will be able to create 2 of these pocket cards. If you have a print that both the front and the backside coordinate mix and match your prints on the pocket or on the notecard that sits inside the pocket. This was the perfect print to do just that with.
When you have such pretty papers, you really don’t have to decorate too much, just a simple sentiment on some pretty mat pieces and you are all set. To create my mats, I used the Stylish Shapes Dies and the soon to be retired handmade tag punch, which is on sale. The sentiments for all my cards came from the Go to Greetings stamp set, which is also on the retired list and will be gone by May 1st or while supplies last. The final retiring item I used was the Festive Pearls, which are also on sale. Grab all your favorite retiring items before they are gone for good!
Here is what the little notecard looks like when you pull it out of the pocket and open it up. On the inside is that pretty floral print and on the outside is the pretty pink stripe.
Flip your paper prints over and you can create a striped card and pocket with the floral print notecard. The choice is yours, but either choice is so very pretty.
What do you do with left-over Paper Scraps
Well, I like to use my left-over paper scraps and strips together on cards or they work great inside your cards to bring the beautiful front prints to the inside as well. For this card I had 2 left-over pieces from my fun fold cards that wouldn’t quite fit the entire card front, so I did an illusion. It appears that the printed paper runs the entire card front but it does not. By placing the strip of Cherry Cobbler cardstock across the section where they do not connect it gives the illusion that it does. This is a quick and easy way to make it look like the paper fits the entire card front.
The last card was a collaboration of the final left-over pieces. I had 2 pieces that were 2″ X 4″ and another strip that was 3/4″ X 4″. These would not quite fit the entire card front but by spacing them out and adding the sentiment piece you end up with a very pretty card using only strips. It does help when the backside of the print coordinates with the front side so you can flip the print and have a bit of contrast.

Glenda, your video tutorials are so enjoyable. Two things I love about your presentation’s are your easy, laid back style and the few times you goof, it never throws you, you are able to punt into a work-around. You are quite talented and I never miss anything you send my way.
