A Glittery Christmas

 Saturday, December 4, 2010

Today my daughter and I are off to Chicago with the church group to do a little Christmas shopping.  This has been a yearly occurrence for I think the last 3 years.  We don’t buy very much but it is nice to see the decorations and we try to make lunch at the Cheesecake Factory.  This year we thought that wouldn’t be possible with all Nikki’s allergies and the Celiac disease, but she looked it up online and as long as she has them prepare her meal in a pan by itself she’ll be fine.  We will definitely be talking to the Manager, we don’t want to be looking for a bathroom every ten minutes.  She also can have the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake it is the only gluten free Cheesecake and it so happens to be her favorite.  We are looking forward to spending the day together.

When I was looking for something to post for today I thought something glittery and sparkly because I was thinking of Chicago with all the decorations and with the snow I’m sure it will be a glittery and sparkly day for us.

This is my favorite stamp set to use for Christmas.  It is the Lovely As A Tree stamp set and I really like to do this technique with it.  The trees are stamped on the Very Vanilla card stock and then you smooch the VersaMark ink pad over the entire piece of card stock, apply heat and stick and heat until just clear, then apply the dazzling diamond, heat again.  Now sit back and enjoy the glitter and sparkle. 🙂

Have a Sparkly Day!
