Bunco Night

Saturday, September 15, 2012

Last night was Bunco Night and we had a blast! It is so much fun to get together with old and new friends and just have a fun night of games and stamping.

Here is the card that everyone made:

I think this is a very pretty fall card which can be used for lots of different occasions. We did a new technique on the leaves which was fun, but I have a tip for you it doesn’t work with the new ink pads.

What’s the technique? The leaves were die cut with the big shot and the new Autumn Accents Bigz Die #127812 $21.95. The colors we used are Raspberry Ripple, Lucky Limeade, More Mustard, and Pumpkin Pie. We scrunched up the leaves and then laid them on an Early Espresso stamp pad and then took the clear block letter E and smashed the block over the top. I learned this technique at Ronda Wade’s mini convention weekend. It is a cool technique with very realistic results.

The DSP we used was the Orchard Harvest #126895 $10.95. The woodgrain looking paper on the front of the card is from the Natural Composition Specialty DSP paper pack #126917 $12.95. I LOVE this paper you can do so much with it!

Remember today is the HUGE craft sale at Hudsonville Fair Grounds. Look for me in barn #10 I’m booth 70. The sale is from 9AM – 3PM cost is $2.00 and 12 and under are free!

Hope to see you today!
