Case-ing the Catalog for Card Sketches It’s My Cup of Tea

Lacking inspiration or motivation? Here’s what I do when I need a boost of inspiration. I turn to the Stampin’ Up! catalogs for card sketches and layout ideas. Today’s card is a case from the annual catalog found on page 27.   Let’s just say today’s card is my cup of tea kind of card.  I love simplicity and this card is definitely quick and easy.  I let the beauty of the Designer Series Papers do the work for me.

This layout is fun with stamp sets as well as the papers; but now that I’m looking at it; it reminds me of a window.  This layout would be great with a scenic stamp set or even scenic papers looking out the window to a snowy scene or mountains.  The possibilities are endless!   Great layout for masculine as well as kids cards.

All the supplies used on today’s card are from the Tea Boutique Suite found on page 12 & 13 of the annual catalog.  I used the Cup of Tea stamp set, the Tea Boutique Designer Series Papers and yes these papers coordinating with the new In Colors.  I used the Starry Sky ink, cardstock and the Sweet Sorbet cardstock.
