This month for my Stampin’ Up! In Color Club Members I used the Circle Sayings Bundle and the New 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper pack to create their cards for this month. Each month I create 5 cards for each club member using each of the 5 new colors. With 3 clubs I am creating 75 cards using the various new color products and stamp sets. It is a lot of work but I’m sure they appreciate it. I also enclose the cards and envelopes in a clear acetate box for them to store their cards in or give them away as a gift. I also try to make the cards a variety of occasions so they will have a card for each occasion they may have coming up.

Which of the In Colors is your favorite new color?
I must confess that at first, I wasn’t a fan of the new colors. They are more muted and more earth tones than what I normally am drawn to, but after working with them I must confess I do have a new appreciation for these colors. They do all coordinate very well together and when you bring in the designer papers you can really create some gorgeous cards.
The Circle Sayings Bundle paired with the paper I think was the perfect pairing. I thought with the polka dot paper and the circle punched imagines you had the perfect combination. To bring out the circle a bit more I die cut the coordinating In Color cardstock using the Stylish Shapes circle die that was just a bit larger than the 2 3/8″ punch that comes in the bundle. I also wanted to add a bit of texture to the Basic White background so I used the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder to give it a bit of texture and add some interest. I also cut the designer series paper in a way that I got 4 cards from just 1 sheet so with the 4 sheets in the pack I had enough pieces to create all my cards for my club members.
