Craft Project Central Sketch Challenge

Friday, January 6, 2012

I decided to give the sketch challenge at Craft Project Central CPC7 a try again this week. Here is the sketch:

Here is my take on the sketch:

I like the vintage feel of this card and the crochet ribbon and antique brad help to get that look. The stamp set I used was Friends Never Fade and the colors are Very Vanilla and Soft Suede.

Here is a close up of the focal point of the card:

The larger scallop border I made using the Big Shot and the Tasteful Trim die.

The smaller scallop border was made using the scallop border punch.

If you would like a sampling of the ribbons and paper shares from the Occasions Mini see yesterday’s post.
Thanks for stopping by,
Glenda

Wow Glenda! What a beautiful card! I love all of the texture and especially the Vintage Brad in the center of the flower. The scallop borders are a nice touch too. Thanks for playing along with the Creating Pretty Cards Sketch Challenge.
