Cute CASE

Thursday, September 22, 2011

Yesterday I was working on my upcoming card club projects and I came across a really cute card by Shirley Pumpkin. I decided I would give it a try with a little twist to my card. In this month’s card club we are focusing on the Shimmer Paints and what you can do with them. I saw the web and decided to give it a little shine and color using the Frost White Shimmer Paint.

Recipe:
CS: Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White
SS: Warmest of Wishes (Hostess set in Holiday Mini), Spooky Bingo Bits #123944 $37.95 wood or #123946 $27.95 clear
Inks: Black, Pumpkin Pie Marker
Accessories: Frost White Shimmer Paint, Web Embossing folder, Big Shot, Owl Punch, 1 1/4″ Circle Punch, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, Rhinestone Jewels

Happy Stamping!

Hi Glenda – I’ve enjoyed looking at your posts using shimmer paint lately. You have beautiful cards! My shimmer paints have sat for at least a year without being used – I simply don’t think of them! How do you typically apply it? With a sponge dauber, or something else? Thanks!
