Easy Watercoloring Ideas With True Beauty Or Watercoloring With Markers?

easy watercoloring ideas with markers

Today’s True Beauty card uses a technique that I haven’t done in a long time. When it was completed I thought the image looked a bit like the watercoloring with markers technique. Yet, there was no water involved. So really is this considered a watercoloring technique? If you think so, then consider this as easy watercoloring ideas for you to use on your cards.

Watercoloring and coloring your stamps with markers gives you different results every time you stamp.  It all depends on how much ink you get on the stamp using the markers and how much time has passed before you stamped the image onto your cardstock.  If you have two ink colors on your stamp as I did with this image and switched from Melon Mambo to Granny Apple Green you have to reignite your inks with some of your hot breathe before stamping or if you really want to try watercoloring with markers spritz your inked image with a bit of water before stamping.

The Designer Series Paper on this card is from the New 6 x 6 In Colors paper pack.  This is the Tahitian Tide print.  The frame around my “faux watercoloring technique” is from the Fabulous Frames dies.  I actually used the die on the Tahitian Tide cardstock and Basic White cardstock and just used the center from the Basic White frame for the center of my Tahitian Tide frame.

Another Just Because card going out in the mail.  Just because I like you, just because I was thinking about you, just because you are you!  No reason for sending this card other than just because I wanted to brighten your day!

Add a few of those beautiful pearls and you have a completed card.
