Happy Birthday Neil!

Friday, October 23, 2009

Well on this day 13 years ago my water broke very early in the morning and I ended up being transported from one hospital to another by ambulance.? The baby was coming 5 weeks early and because I had gestational diabetes his lungs were not developed and the hospital I went to did not have the equipment needed once he was delivered.?? Well my baby boy was born and whisked away to intensive care, he weighed in at 6 pounds 9 ounces a BIG ONE for 5 weeks early!??? Neil was my 7th pregnancy but only my 3rd baby to survive, so we were extremely scared but with lots of prayers he became strong and healthy.?? Praise God!? I thank God every day for giving us our 4 wonderful children.? Yes, I did say wonderful.? Well Okay, there are some days I think maybe not so wonderful but they really are great kids.? Yes, I did say 4 we had another miscarriage after Neil was born but the 9th pregnancy was a charm and we had Dean.

Okay, so on with the post for today.? Since Neil was brought home from the hospital on Halloween I thought my Halloween Treat pouch would be the perfect project for today.

Treat Pouch

Inside the treat pouch is a cellophane bag filled with more Candy Corn.? A friend of mine said, put in a bag of peanuts to go with the Candy Corn.? Hmm lots of possibilities.

I hope you all have a Great Day and give a child a Hug today!
