I have a couple of Easter cards to show you today using the stamp set “He is Risen” #121919 $18.95 wood or #121988 $14.95 clear.
Recipe:
CS: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Certainly Celery
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Certainly Celery, Black Stazon
SS: He is Risen
Accessories: Big Shot, Designer Frames, Daffodil Delight Seam Binding Ribbon, Double “D” Bow Maker
I played for quite a while with this stamp set using it in different techniques trying to get something I liked. I kind of liked this card but I didn’t like that the lillies.
On to card #4:
This is the card I finally went with. I made 16 of them and mailed them all out. I mailed out card #3 without taking a picture of it so I will just say that I colored the lillies using the Frost White shimmer paint. This was pretty cool but a little to time consuming for 16 cards. On this card I just colored the leaves using the Certainly Celery ink and I just added a little Daffodil Delight to the centers of the 2 open lillies.
Recipe:
CS: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Certainly Celery
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Certainly Celery, Black Stazon
SS: He is Risen
Accessories: Daffodil Delight 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon
Card #2 is pictured in this trio. I used So Saffron marker to color the lillies hoping to get a softer effect but didn’t like that either.
Have a Great Day and Happy Stamping!

These cards are beautiful. I bet you used the Double D to make those beautiful bows.
I have to say Thank You to your son, Dean, for his crafty creation of the Double D Bow Maker. I use to struggle to make bows and finally gave up and just ties the knot instead. Well, I took the opportunity to order one of the Double D Bow makers. WOW! It’s the best thing I have done. I can now make a bow and beautiful bows at that! I made small Easter baskets for my family and I had to make quite a few tiny bows. The Double D bow maker made it so easy and quick. I was so proud of my new found bow making ability.
Glenda, Thank you for all your card inspirations. I come to your blog daily. Thank you again to your son too.
