In Wilderness

Today is the Sketch Challenge at Try Stampin’ On Tuesday and here is the sketch for this week.

I decided I wanted to do another masculine card and thought this was a great sketch for a masculine card.
Here is my take on the sketch:

I got my color combination from the Well Worn DSP.
Here is the recipe:
CS: Well Worn DSP, Very Vanilla, Not Quite Navy, Cajun Craze
Ink: Early Espresso, Canjun Craze
SS: In Wilderness
Accessories: Pastels, Scallop Edge Punch, Framelits, Big Shot, Sponge

I decided my eagle needed some color it just didn’t look right being plan brown; so I got out my chalks and gave him a little color. I wanted something soft and I think the chalks did the trick.

Yes, I didn’t use the bow maker on my card today, I don’t put a lot of bows on masculine cards. However you can still get the Bow Maker for FREE this week when you place a min. $75.00 online order (before shipping and tax) on my Stampin’ Up! website. You can order by clicking on the 24/7 picture in the upper right hand corner of my blog. Remember with a $75.00 order you get 1 FREE Sale-a-bration product, the Double “D” Bow Maker, 4 dowels (to create double, triple and quad loop bows) a handmade card with a link to a video where you will learn how to create the different bows using the Double “D” Bow Maker. You will also receive a piece of ribbon to practice with; PLUS free priority shipping on the bow maker. I will also be enclosing a handmade card from me Thanking you for your Stampin’ Up! order. Wow, that’s a lot of stuff and a great deal!
