Make It Monday!  Make your own ornaments this year for yourself or to give as a gift.  It is the season to create and share from home. These wooden ornaments turned out so beautiful and will be enjoyed for years to come.

Join me today at 11:00AM EST on my FaceBook Page or YouTube Channel “The Stamp Camp” for some tips on creating your own handmade ornaments.

The Poinsettia Petals Bundle is the perfect bundle for creating these beautiful ornaments.  I used the Real Red Velvet Paper to die cut the Poinsettia and Garden Green and Early Espresso card stock for the leaves and branch.  The Happy Holidays sentiment was stamped directly onto the wood ornament using Early Espresso ink.  To tie it all together and to be able to hang it from the tree I tied it with the Early Espresso ribbon.

On this ornament I used the Dove of Hope Bundle.  The Dove is die cut from some Shimmery White card stock and the branch is Old Olive.  The Real Red Rhinestones were the perfect accent for the branch.  For the sentiment I hand cut around the words and popped it up on my ornament.  To create the loop for hanging I used some Real Red ribbon and tied it into a bow.

These wood pieces are 3.5 – 4″ size and depending on the size and shape that you choose they will fit inside the mini pizza boxes; some are a bit big so you have see what fits.  I purchased these bigger sized wood slices from Amazon as well.  Be careful when you purchase your wood pieces as these DID NOT have a pre-drilled hole in them; so I had to send Bill to the barn to drill my holes.

These Wood Slices below are 3.1″ – 3.5″ but DO have the pre-drilled holes as well as the string.
