For today’s post I used the sketch from the Mojo Monday sketch challenge for this week.  Here is the sketch:

Here is my take on the sketch:

I tried to cut a wavy edge like on the sketch but didn’t like how it was turning out so I went to my punches.  I chose the Eyelet Border punch.  The stamp set is one of my favorites and it is the Christmas Cardinal #111760 $23.95.  The beautiful background paper is from the New Holiday Mini and it is found in the Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper pack #120810 $9.95.  The Merry Christmas sentiment is also from the Christmas Cardinal stamp set, I just used the stamp-a-ma-jig to stack the Merry on top of the word Christmas.  The ink colors used were Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, and More Mustard.
