Online Techniques Class – Faux Leather

Today’s Online Technique is called Faux Leather. There are a couple of different ways to create faux leather and the one I’m doing today uses Fun Foam. You can purchase fun foam at any craft store.

Here is the card being made today in the video:

The trick to getting a nice stamped image into your fun foam is to make sure to get the foam good and hot before stamping your image into the foam. You will also want to have your stamp well inked and ready to go before heating your foam. You also want to hold your stamp onto the foam for a little while to get a good impression. I also sponged the edges of my foam after stamping to give it more of a leather look.
