Open House Make & Take

Saturday, January 22, 2011

Yesterday I showed you the Inlaid technique that was being demonstrated at my Open House so today I’m going to show you a Make & Take that everyone did.

For this make & take they used the Letterpress plates.  They were shown a demonstration of the plates and then they could make their own.  This was the card they made:

The trick to the Letterpress plates, is using a removal tape on the backside of the card stock and sticking it to the clear plate before you lay it on top of your inked Letterpress plate.  This way your card stock will not fall or move while you are running it thru the Big Shot and removing it from the die.

They used the Filled with Love Promotion stamp set for the Large heart and punched the small heart out of the new Red Glimmer card stock.  The scalloped heart was die cut from the Big Shot using the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits die.  The ribbon is the Real Red Satin Ribbon.
