Recap Designer Series Paper From Stampin’ Up! Pop Up Gift Card Holder

pretty prints designer series paper from stampin' up!

If you missed my live last week Friday no worries because today I’m showing you a recap of all the Pop Up Gift Card Holders you missed.  I will have the video down below in this blog post as well.  Each of today’s cards feature a different print of Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!  Plus, no worries about the paper being gone or not available to order again as all the prints I used are from the annual catalog.

This first vertical Pop Up Gift Card Holder features the Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper.  This paper pack has beautiful prints like this in the following Stampin’ Up! colors: Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss, Evening Evergreen and Calypso Coral with various shades of the coordinating colors.  For this card I used the Evening Evergreen card base and accented with the Soft Sea Foam cardstock.

The sentiment is from the Lovely & Lasting Bundle which was my featured bundle for this months Stamp Camp At Home Card Club.

Inside you can see how the gift card and notecard pop up when the card is opened.  This card was shown start to finish so you can see exactly how to cut and assemble this type of gift card holder.  I did change up the next card from what I had shown on my blog last week.

First lets take a look at the measurements for this card:
Evening Evergreen card base: 4 1/4″ X 11″ scored at 2″ and at 7 1/2″
Inside Evening Evergreen: 3 3/4″ X 7″ scored at 2″ and at 6 1/2″
Soft Sea Foam: 4″ X 5 1/4″, 1 3/4″ X 4″

Stampin’ Up! Gift Card Holder #2:

pop up gift card holder

This is my new version of the vertical pop up gift card holder.  This card is done the same way except I added the Scalloped Contour Die to the front along with a strip of cardstock under the sentiment banner die cut so you do not notice where the card breaks in the opening.  The paper print that I used on this card is from the Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!  This paper pack is black and white prints and you have the option to color it with the Blends, Markers or Watercolor Pencils.  I chose to use the Real Red and Old Olive Blends on this piece.

Here is the inside where you can write or stamp a greeting on the notecard and a spot to place your pop up gift card.

Here are the measurements for this card:

Basic Black inside piece: 3 3/4″ X 7″ scored at 2″ and at 6 1/2″
Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper: 3 1/4″ X 4″, 1 3/4″ X 4″, 1/2″ X 4″

The sentiment i used on this card was from the Happiness Abounds stamp set and it was die cut using the Stylish Shapes banner die.

Pop Up Gift Card Holder #3

This print is from the Hues of Happiness paper pack and is perfect for so many occasions.  The colors are beautiful and the coordinating Happiness Abounds bundle has dies that work for every image on one of the prints.  I love to die cut up the whole sheet and keep them on hand to make cards quick and easy.  I also used my new favorite Framed Florets dies to get those beautiful Oval die cuts.

This card does not have a mat piece under the printed paper as I love to showcase the print as much as possible.

I used the same color cardstock on the inside pop up mechanism as the card base but if you like to switch things up you could go with a lighter coordinating color for your pop up mechanism.  I showed that last week on one of the cards I posted.  If you missed those first 4 Pop Up cards I created you can find those by clicking HERE.

Here is the measurements for this card:
Early Espresso card base: 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ scored at 1 1/2″ and at 5 3/4″
Early Espresso inside piece: 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″ scored at 1/2″ and at 4″
Hues of Happiness Designer Paper: 4″ X 5 1/4″, 1 1/4″ X 5 1/4″, 1/2″ X 3 1/4″
Basic White: 3 1/4″ X 4″

The sentiment is from the coordinating Happiness Abounds stamp set.  The Glossy dots were used to accent the sentiment.

Here is the Final Pop Up Gift Card Holder Featuring Designer Series Paper From Stampin’ Up!

This card uses the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper.  I love Night of Navy and White together and the coordinating Nature’s Prints Bundle makes this a win win card.  On this card I used a strip of cardstock to come across the opening of the card and added the sentiment banner in the center of it.  The designer paper on this card is cut a bit different again than the other horizontal card.

With the Basic White card base on this card it makes it a very crisp and clean looking card.  It still has the pop out notecard to stamp or write your sentiment on.  If you really wanted a contrasting look inside you could use a different color cardstock for the mechanism part; say Night of Navy perhaps.

Here is the measurements for this card:
Thick Basic White card base:  5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ scored at 1 1/2″ and at 5 3/4″
Inside Basic White: 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″ scored at 1/2″ and at 4″
Sun Prints Designer Paper: 2 1/2″ X 5 1/4″, 1 1/4″ X 5 1/4″, 1/2″ X 3 3/4″
Basic White: 3 3/4″ X 4″
