Red Hot Challenge!

Sunday, June 3, 2012

Today is the sketch challenge at the Red Hot Stampers Blog. Here is the sketch for this week:

When I was looking at this sketch I tilted my head and thought I’m going to turn the sketch. I then began looking thru my stamp sets to see what I had that would fit in the little squares. I came across the Avairy stamp set and thought perfect! I also wanted to use my new In Colors so I went with the Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Black and White.

Here is my take on the sketch:

I thought the Raspberry Ripple needed a little texture so I ran it thru the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Impressions folder. I also wanted to add a little Rhinestone Jewel to the Bird Cages. A simple and quick card for any occasion.
