It’s Saturday Share and I have some fun techniques and ideas to share with you today!
You may have already seen this card as it was demonstrated this week during my video on Thursday night. I have the PDF File to share with you today. This is one of the watercoloring ideas I shared this week. This card featured the watercolor paper and coloring in the image with the ink refills and the water painters. The question of the week was, “How to know where to color in those darker and lighter shades when coloring line art images. ” Well, I am not a watercolorist but gave it my best shot. I’m going to try and answer your questions to the best of my abilities and that’s what I did this week.
During the video on Thursday I demonstrated a variety of ways to color line art stamps using different watercoloring techniques. If you missed the video and would like to watch it you can find it HERE.
The stamp set that I used was the Apple Harvest stamp set which during the Perfect Pairing promotion had the dies with it; so I did use the die on my card but you could easily hand cut out this apple as well. The sentiment and the hash tag image are all part of the stamp set.
The Cottage Gingham designer series paper is a favorite of mine and went so well with the apple image.

Christmas Cards Techniques and Ideas to Share:
Check out this beauty! The next 2 cards that I’m sharing with you today are from a group that I’m a part of. We each make a card and share the PDF file to use in our business. So, yes you will find the PDF file for the following two cards in this blog post as well.
I’m not sure what makes this card so pretty? Is it the simplicity of the card or the beautiful red, green and gold elements. What do you think? I love the use of the Merry Melody embossing folder on the background; perfect for a Christmas card.
The stamp set or bundle that is used on this card is the Decorated with Happiness bundle. Those little red “berries” are actually the Real Red Rhinestones. If you are looking for some interesting stamping techniques that is another way to add bling to your card.
