It’s time for Saturday’s Fun Fold Cards and I have one you are going to Flip for! It is the Flip Up Flip Out Fun Fold Card. I’ve been trying to feature fun folds on Saturday that are new to me and I really can’t remember creating cards like today’s fun fold. If I did I totally forgot about this fun fold! I think you are going to flip over how easy and fun these cards are to create. This fold works for any occasion and I have a few to show you today. First up I couldn’t’ resist using the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper to create a Valentine’s Day card. The Country Bouquet punch is not available at the moment but it will be back into the Stampin’ Up! warehouse around April 17th, I know way after Valentine’s Day but it is great for anniversaries or weddings as well. If you really wanted to you could also get a jump on next years Valentines.
Flip Up Flip Out Fun Fold Cards for the Teens or Adventurer in Your Life:
This is the New Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper and it is perfect for this fun fold card technique. This is the actual card I created in the video and I also did it using the reverse side of the paper which is in the Night of Navy and Purple.
Both of these cards use the coordinating Greatest Journey Bundle for the sentiment. I thought this card would also make a great graduation card when you add the sentiment “Wishing You Joy in This Next Adventure” or even the sentiment “This Moment is the start of something great”. This paper is so perfect all you need to do is add a sentiment and it is pretty much done.
Flip Up Flip Out Fun Fold Card With Hello Ladybug:
I thought it was time to dust off my Hello Ladybug bundle and create a fun fold card with that set. I actually had these ladybugs already assembled and in my box of left-overs. Do you have a box like that in your craft room? I have a big ole shoebox full of die cuts,1/2 assembled card pieces, stamped images, and scraps of papers, etc. these are things that I didn’t use or didn’t like on my project but didn’t want to throw them away so they go in my shoebox. I think I found everything to create this card in my shoebox except the card base. Most of the pieces were left over from my In Color Club cards I created when the new catalog came out last year. Speaking of In Color Club make sure to check out the retiring In Colors and grab what you want before they are gone for good. This is just a heads up because we know once the retired list goes out they get sold out ASAP, so why wait for that to happen get your In Color Supplies today, specifically the 2021-2023.
