Today’s One Sheet Wonder Cards feature the New Seaside Bay Bundle and the By The Bay 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. Make sure to check out the video found below in this blog post and then download the template to get started!
When I first opened the pack of 6 x 6 By The Bay Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! I knew right away I was going to love it! I guess I didn’t read the description in the mini catalog too well as I was surprised to find out that one side of the prints has gold foiling and a pearl foil, WOW it is so pretty!
Today’s layouts are done from just One 6 x 6 sheet from this paper pack. You will get 3 cards from that one sheet. So you could create a whole pile of cards using these layouts and the different prints from the pack.
I couldn’t decide which colors I liked best with the paper so I went with a variety. This card has the Sahara Sand base and the mats are all Balmy Blue. The Night of Navy piece was embossed with the Seashells 3D embossing folder which is in the Annual Catalog but goes perfectly with the By the Bay Suite of products. I love it when I can add some older products with new products, mix and match your products for a whole new look.
The Beautiful bird on my card was die cut from the paper pack, love that! The Seaside Bay Bundle has dies that coordinate with the prints in the paper.
This little crab was also die cut from the paper pack; in fact both the bird and the crab are on the same print so you can die cut both images at the same time. You will get 3 of each image from the 1 sheet.
The base on this card is the Night of Navy and the embossed piece is the Petal Pink cardstock. This is actually the same layout as the first card except I turned the focal piece on the diagonal which gives this card a whole different look.
The card base on this card is the Petal Pink and the embossed piece is Sahara Sand. This time instead of using an image I put a sentiment in my middle box. This is from the Seaside Bay Bundle. I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to die cut the sentiment.
You may also notice I changed up the layout of the panel pieces from right to left.
I used the new Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots on these cards but in the By The Bay Suite of Products is the Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls which I used in the video. Either work beautifully with these cards but if you want to incorporate the Pearl effect into your cards the flat adhesive-backed pearls are the way to go.
