For today’s cards, I’m featuring three different Designer Series Paper packs to showcase just how pretty they are. Even better—these three packs are part of the 2025–2027 In Color 15% Off Sale, happening now through August 31, 2025!
For the first card, I’m using the new Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper—a collection of bright, beautiful prints that are bold and fresh. One of my favorite things about this pack is that you can hand-cut the pears from one of the prints and use them as a striking focal point on your card front.
The card base is the new 2025–2027 In Color “Secret Sea”, with a cheerful Darling Duckling cardstock mat. If you pick up the Painterly Pears DSP, I highly recommend grabbing both the Secret Sea and Darling Duckling cardstock packs, along with the Secret Sea ink pad, to coordinate perfectly.

Painterly Pears DSP: Top piece – 2 3/8″ x 3 ¾” | Bottom piece – 2 ½” x 3 ¾”

Center Focal Layers: Darling Duckling – 2 5/8″ x 3 5/8″ | Secret Sea – 2 ½” x 3 ½” | Painterly Pears DSP – 2 ¼” x 3 ¼”
The center pear was hand-cut from one of the DSP prints. The sentiment and die cut are from the Perfectly Pears Bundle.
For the second card, I used the Simple Card Sketch Templates horizontally and turned it into a gatefold card. For this design, I chose the Floral Charm 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper Pack along with the coordinating Charming Day Bundle.

Card Base: Early Espresso – 4 ¼” x 5 ½”

Gatefold Card Layer: Petal Pink – 4″ x 10 ½”, scored at 2 5/8″ from each end

DSP Panels (Front): 2 3/8″ x 3 ¾” (each)

Center Focal Layers: Early Espresso – 2 ½” x 3 ¾” | Basic White – 2 ¼” x 3 ½”
The flowers on the front were stamped on a separate piece of Basic White cardstock using Early Espresso ink, then colored with Petal Pink, Peach Pie, and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. I hand-cut the flowers and popped them up on the card front for added dimension. The “Happy Birthday” greeting is also from the Charming Day Bundle.
For the inside, I added a Basic White panel measuring 3 ¾” x 5″ and a coordinating strip of Floral Charm Designer Series Paper (¾” x 5″) to bring the beautiful design from the outside in.
For the final card, I created a vertical gatefold card with a slight front overlap for added interest. Using the Simple Card Sketch Templates, I tweaked the layers just a bit, but the finished look still coordinates beautifully with the first two designs.
For this card, I used the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper and the coordinating Cheers & Sips Stamp Set. The sentiment label is from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

Center Focal Layers: Strawberry Slush – 2 ½” x 3 ½” | Basic White – 2 ¼” x 3 ¼”
I hand-cut the drink glasses from one of the Celebratory Sips DSP prints and popped them up on the card front. The sentiment panel was also popped up for dimension. To finish it off, I added Holographic Resin Dots—colored with the Strawberry Slush Stampin’ Blends—for the perfect touch of sparkle.
For the inside, I added a Basic White panel measuring 3 ¾” x 5″, then accented the bottom edge with a ¾” x 3 ¾” strip of Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper and another hand-cut drink glass to tie the inside to the front design.
What do you think? All three cards are beautiful, using the same sketch but with slightly different measurements to create fun, unique versions. I don’t include measurements on the sketch so you have the freedom to make each card your own. The sketch is simply a starting point—designed to spark your creativity and inspire your own designs!
