Something New

 Wednesday, June 15, 2011

I thought it was time for something new again.  This time I am using a stamp set from the Summer Mini catalog.  This is one of my new favorites; it is called “The Open Sea” #123030 $26.95 wood or #123032 $18.95 clear.  This is my new favorite masculine stamp set and the new Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper #122343 $10.95 make a great combination.

This was my swap card I made for the Red Hot Stampers Summer Mini swap.  I love how the new Nautical Expedition DSP coordinates with the Open Sea stamp set.  This is a must have stamp set and DSP in my book.  LOVE IT!

I embossed the sailboat onto Not Quite Navy card stock using the Whisper White Craft ink and the White embossing powder.  I hand cut the anchor and punched a hole in the top and tied the new White Baker’s Twine #124262 $2.95 thru the hole.  The Whisper White card stock on the front of the card was run thru the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Impressions Folder.

Remember only a few short weeks left to get those last minute retiring accessories and stamp sets.  Also as a bonus I have a couple of FREE gifts for you for ordering.  If you live near me and place a min. $50.00 order with me by June 30th you will receive the new catalog for FREE as well as a FREE class in August where you will be making 5 different projects using the new stamp sets and accessories from the Summer Mini and the New 2011/2012 Idea Book & Catalog.   See a sneak peak of 2 of the projects being made in the class by going to this post HERE and HERE.
