This is the New Band Together stamp set which is also sold in a bundle with the Detailed Bands Dies.  I used the dies on one of my magnolia cards last week.  I love dies and this set has some nice intricate dies to go with the sentiments in the Band Together stamp set.

To color in my flowers I used the Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight and the Granny Apple Green Blends.  If I have an outline image that needs to be colored in  the Blends are my go to coloring medium.

I really like the Flirty Flamingo with the Black and White; the colors just pop.  Maybe the mix with the Granny Apple Green makes it striking.  Is it just me or do you find this color combination pretty as well?

You may notice that the sentiment looks like it is die cut from the center of the intricate band die.  You are correct, you can change out the inside color or even stamp on your card stock underneath and then pop the band up over the top.  To secure my sentiment piece inside the die cut I flipped it over to the backside and help it in place with dimensionals.

This flower and stem is a pretty large stamp; it can easily fill up the front of your card.  On this card I chose to trim it down a bit and add the Basic Black card stock behind; creating a panel.

The Band die is actually bigger than the front of this card so I had to trim it a bit once I had it popped up on the card front.  It seems to me that the bands are about 5″ wide so they will fit in either a horizontal direction or vertical.  With the vertical direction you will need to trim it down a bit.

I like the sentiments in the Band Together stamp set and I’m sure they will be my go to set for sentiments as well as the flower images.

The sentiments are Wishing you a Happy Birthday, So Grateful we are Friends, Celebrate the Best Day Ever, You are Amazing, Beautiful Inside and Out, You’re  A Great Example to Me.

The larger flower can be die cut out separately and the set also has leaves that you can die cut out as well.

To finish off the card I added my signature Pearls.  I just can’t seem to stamp a card without adding some jewels to it.  For me that just finishes them off; it is rare that I don’t have some sort of bling on my cards.
