Stampin’ Up! Bold Blossom

Sunday, February 6, 2011

For today’s sample I somewhat used the Sketch Frenzy Friday sketch challenge for this week.   When I looked at the sketch I could invision a row of flowers across the center of the card.  The flower set that came to mind first was the new Bold Blossom #123232 $12.95 wood mount or #122232$9.95 clear mount from the Occasions Mini.

I really like the new Framed Tulips Textured Impressions embossing folder #121809 $7.95 and thought it went really well with the row of flowers.  The little Rhinestone jewels in the center of the flowers was colored using a yellow sharpie marker.  I love that you can turn the Rhinestone Jewels and Pearls into any color you want just by coloring them with a Sharpie marker.  I used the 3/4″ Circle punch to punch out the flowers and then popped them up on the stems using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The colors I used were Regal Rose, Certainly Celery and So Saffron for the butterflies; which yes I hand cut them out.
