Stampin’ Up! Nature Walk

Friday, January 7, 2011

For today’s card sample I tried a new sketch challenge from Dive Coffee Break.  I used the new Nature Walk stamp set from the new Occasions mini catalog.  This stamp set is not my style because it requires coloring in using markers, chalks, watercolor crayons, or pencils.  I’m not a good watercolorist so I tend not to buy or use these particular stamp sets.  Well I knew I would be seeing beautiful things done with this set so I broke down and bought it.  Well as I was preparing for my downline meeting yesterday I looked thru the Stampin’ Success Magazine and saw a whole 2 page spread of different cards and projects done using this set and the Demonstrator didn’t color them in much and they were all beautiful.  SOLD, Love it!  I also used the same designer series paper that she used just used the sketch challenge for my card layout.
