Stampin’ Up! Sunny Fun

Saturday, August 6, 2011

Back in May and in June if you placed an Online Order with me you received the new Idea Book & Catalog for FREE along with an invitation to a FREE project class I’m having in a few weeks. For those who can’t attend the class they will be receiving the PDF files for all the projects. I wanted to send out a special invitation for this class thanking all those who have kept me active and placed orders while I was taking the time off to take care of my parents (who by the way are doing remarkable well). I wanted to create a pocket type invitation so my first attempt was the criss cross type.

It was cute but not the look I was going for. The stamp set I used for this one is the New Sunny Fun #123040 $19.95 wood or #123042 $14.95 clear. The designer series paper is the Just Add Cake #124339 $10.95 (Remember for the month of August when you purchase 3 packages of DSP you receive a 4th package for FREE!).

On for my next attempt:

This card uses the same DSP as the first one. I went with this sample to mass produce for my invitations; I liked the simplicity of this one. The flower is the Fancy Flower punch #118073 $16.95 and I ran it thru the Big Shot using the Square Lattice impressions folder to give it a texture. The circle centers are the 1″ circle punch #119868 $10.95 and the 3/4″ Circle punch #119873 $10.95. I ran a sheet of Poppy Parade card stock thru the big shot using the dotted impressions folder and then punched out my circles. The leaves are from the Blossoms Petals Builder punch #121808 $16.95

Have a Great Day!
