Stampin’ Up! Totally Tools

Wednesday, April 18, 2012

Today is the sketch challenge at the Stampin’ Queens and here is the sketch for this week:

Here is my take on the sketch:

When I looked at this sketch for some reason the retiring Totally Tools #113256 $25.95set came to my mind. I also decided that the rickrack from the Tasteful Trim die #120893 $42.95 would be a nice mix with the stamp set. The rickrack reminded me of a saw blade and I thought went perfectly with the tools. I used the Sanded background stamp (retired) on my crumb cake card stock to give a wood sort of look. I don’t have the woodgrain background stamp #117100 $17.95 so I thought the sanded (Retired) would work just fine. To create the saw blade circle I just punched a 1 3/4″ scallop circle out of the Brushed Silver card stock, then I attached it to a piece of printer paper and punched it again punching thru the existing scallops creating a rickrack circle.

If you haven’t seen the retiring stamp set list click on the list in my right hand side bar. To order you can go to my Online website and place your order or drop me an email and I would be happy to order for you.

Have a Great Day and Happy Stamping!
