Stamping mistakes happen in stamping whether you are a new stamper or aging stamper like myself hahahaha. Yesterday I was creating my In Color cards for my August club featuring the Cottage Rose stamp set and stamped all my inside pieces for the Sweet Sorbet cards in the wrong direction. What do you do when you have a pile of card pieces stamped in the wrong direction? Here’s what I did to correct that mistake.
Well this is the front of my card so you wouldn’t know there was ever a mistake. I used the exact same pieces on the front that my original design had except I turned the direction of the pieces. Here is my original design that all my club members are getting:
I did have to cut my Sweet Sorbet mat piece slightly larger to get it to fit across the front panel; but other than that the front is the same just turned. Now you are wondering okay so where was the mistake? Well my Stampin’ Up! In Color Club cards are going in the horizontal direction and I stamped my inside Basic White piece in the Vertical direction; which wasn’t going to work for the inside of my club cards. So really it was an easy fix just changed the direction of the card and a bit of tweaking on the paper cutting.
