Stamping Techniques With Sale-a-bration Most Adored Paper

Sale-a-bration stamping techniques

Would you like to learn a stamping technique that you can do with the Sale-a-bration Most Adorned Specialty Papers which by the way is a FREE Sale-a-bration paper pack.  Check out today’s card.   I used one of the prints from the paper pack on this card.  The print with the hearts is on the backside of the print with the gold foiled flowers.  Now you may be asking where is the stamping technique?  The flower print is not colored it; they are gold foil embossed on this side of the print.  What I did was color in the flowers with the Real Red and Old Olive Blends.  The gold foiling resists the ink of the blends and shines through.  This is the embossed resist technique except the paper is already embossed so you can skip that step.  This emboss resist technique can be done with other prints in the pack as well.  There is a striped piece you could add additional stripes and create a beautiful plaid with the blends in any color you like.

The sentiment on this card is from the coordinating Adorning Hearts Bundle and I used the Stylish Shapes dies to die cut the circle.  I wanted to create a card that was NOT a Valentine’s Day card and I hope to show you that you can use the Most Adorn paper for more than just Valentine’s.   The little bouquet on the sentiment circle was hand cut from the print and colored with the blends.

I love when you can do some quick and easy stamping techniques with hardly any effort, no embossing required just color with the blends in any color you want.

To bring out the gold foiling from the print I went with the gold pearls from the Festive Pearls pack. So, what do you think?

Does it still have the Valentine feel or is it more a feeling of love for the person you want to celebrate? If you do not like the heart background paper, you could use another print from the pack and for sure It would not have the appearance of a Valentine’s Day card. Use another gold foiling print and use the blends and the ink pads to color the background using the emboss resist technique but with the ink pads and blends. Experiment with the different gold foiling prints and blends, blending brushes, sponge daubers, or markers, your options are unlimited make the prints your own.
