I decided to try my Reverse Thumping Technique with the Butterfly from the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set.  What do you think?  Do you like new Stamping Techniques?  If you do you are  going to love the results you will get with  this Reverse Thumping Technique.

If you missed Friday’s video on this fun technique click on the photo below to watch how it is done.  On Friday I used the Tree image from the stamp set and created a card for every season.  I love the look you get with this technique.

What do you think are you ready to give the Reverse Thumping Technique a try?

I decided to create my own designer paper with this technique.  The butterflies were stamped with Soft Suede ink and then I used the Soft Suede Blend to outline them and use the Reverse Thumping technique with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and the Soft Suede Blends.  I didn’t like the stark white background so I used my blending brush and the Soft Suede ink to lightly sponge over the entire piece.

The sentiment on the front is from the Best Year stamp set and the little Brass butterflies are from the mini catalog.
