To You & Yours Gift Card Holder
Today is Tuesday’s Tips & Techniques and the technique is called Faux Metal.

You can do this card with any of our Foil papers. We have the Red, Silver and Gold Foil Papers.

You will also need a Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The more intricate ones works the best.

I used the Happy Hearts folder on my first sample and in the video.

Here is the video on the technique:

Here are some more samples using different embossing folders and foils:
Faux Metal Green

I love the look you get with the Chevron folder; it reminds me of the metal you see on Semi Trucks.

Dean's card
This was Dean’s AKA cameraman bow maker’s birthday card, he turned 16 yesterday. This makes a great masculine card with its metal look.

Silver Anniversary card
The Lovely Lace folder gives you a very pretty look for Anniversary cards or wedding. I sent this card to my daughter and son-in-law who just had their first anniversary.

Anniversary Gift Card Holder
The Happy Hearts folder makes a great card or gift card holder for an Anniversary as well.
