Week 7 of the 12 Weeks of Christmas

Saturday, November 12, 2011

Well it is Saturday and Week 7 of the 12 Weeks of Christmas Projects/Cards. I hope you have enjoyed all the videos and ideas for your Christmas cards and gift giving. Today I have another very cool card to show you. It is called a Double Z-fold card. This style or type of card makes wonderful Wedding announcements, Baby announcements or Bridal shower cards.

Here is the front of the card:

I used the Christmas Lodge DSP on the front of this card. With the double opening I thought it looked like doors opening and this red wood grain look fit it perfectly. I also used the new Bright Hopes (#122690 $23.95 wood or #122692 $17.95 clear) stamp set from the Holiday Mini. I used a Red Sharpie marker to color my Rhinestone Jewels to add to the Wreath. Then I just tied a little bow out of the Red ribbon and attached with a mini glue dot. The wreath was attached to a piece of Real Red card stock and made into a belly band around the front of the card.

Remove the belly band and open the z-fold to reveal the inside of the card:

I stamped the tree from the Bright Hopes stamp set along with the greeting. Don’t you just love it when every stamp on your card is from the same stamp set?

Now for the video:

I hope you enjoyed the video and will give the Double Z-fold a try.

Thanks for stopping by,
Glenda
