Wetlands Interlocking Card

Friday, March 28, 2014

Today’s card was one we made in my card clubs this month. I showed them different techniques for different closures on cards using big shot dies and Framelits.

Wetlands Card with Interlocking Front

This card uses the Labels Collection Framelits Dies #125598 $26.95 to create an interlocking closure.
This picture shows how the 2 labels collection cut pieces interlock to create the closure.

We used the Wetlands stamp set #126695 $21.95 or #126697 $16.95 and the 3rd & 4th from the largest Labels framelit to cut it out.

When you glue your cut and stamped framelit pieces together you only glue down the opposite halves.

Here is the video on the technique:

The final step was adding a little bling to the top and bottom corners.

This really is a quick and easy card to make and makes a great masculine card.

I was wondering where did you get your storage thing for your dies?
Looks like a wonderful concept and I hope to try your card some day.
