Let’s dive in to last night’s cards

If you are unfamiliar with One Sheet Wonder Cards let me explain.  Every Thursday night on my YouTube Channel “The Stamp Camp” I will show you, “How to get a pile of cards” from just 1 sheet of 6 x 6 or 12 x 12 or 8 1/2 X 11 sheets of generally designer series paper; but you could also create your own designer paper with inks and stamps which I’ve done before as well.  Basically you cut up the Designer Series Paper in a variety of ways to make multiple cards while using up the entire sheet; no worries about waste or scraps left over.

Last night I used the Inked Botanicals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to create 4 cards.  I also used the Inked & Tiled Bundle which is part of the Inked Botanicals Suite.  Club members received the full pack of 6 x 6 paper and a full spool of ribbon, plus the card kit to create 8 fun fold cards, with PDF file and video giving step by step instructions.  Club members also receive bonus PDF files, videos, and my One Sheet Wonder Cards PDF file and download pattern.

For each of last night’s cards I used the Lost Lagoon cardstock for my card bases and the strips to accent the designer series paper is Pool Party.   I would consider these monochromatic cards as they are created in shades of blues or blue greens.  I also brought in the Inked & Tiles Bundle for the flower stamp and the sentiment pieces.  The only ink color I used for all the cards is the Lost Lagoon ink.  Another reason I love to create One Sheet Wonder Cards is you can do a lot with minimal supplies and get beautiful cards; so you don’t have to break the bank purchasing a bunch of supplies.

This card is the 2nd half of the diagonal piece.  Now you could do two cards the exact same with this diagonal piece but I like to show the different options you have.  I also love the punches in this bundle as you can mix and match your punched pieces to create a variety of sentiment mats and layers.  Take a look at each of these cards; each card has a different sentiment piece showing you just how versatile these punches can be.

The Inked & Tiled Bundle also has a variety of sentiments in the stamp set so this makes it a great stamp set to have in your craft room.  I love a stamp set that has a variety of sentiments in it with gorgeous images as well; making it a win, win in my book.

You will also see how I tied the Lost Lagoon ribbon in with each of the cards using it on a sentiment piece or on the flowers; just tie a piece and attach it with a mini glue dot is all you need.  If you wanted to attach a few pearls or other gem pieces to your card front you could do that as well; but I wanted to keep them simple but elegant as well.

For the last card I cut the 2″ strip down to 1 1/2″ and used the 1/2″ strip on the inside of my card.  I could have used the 2″ piece on my card front but by cutting just a bit of it off and using it on the inside of the card to decorate the inside to coordinate with the outside is a great way to use designer series paper as well.  On the other 3 cards I used the same flower stamp to stamp on the inside of my card.  I also stamped my envelopes in the bottom left hand corner with the flower image to coordinate the whole ensemble together.  This pack of 4 cards with envelopes would make a great gift to give to someone.  Maybe change the sentiment on each card to a different occasion so they have 4 different occasions they could use the cards for.
