If your quick and easy Christmas cards are already finished for the season, grab these items now and enjoy crafting next year’s cards at a relaxed, enjoyable pace. With coordinating pieces that practically design themselves, these supplies make stamping simple, stress-free, and fun—especially for new creators looking for beginner stamping ideas.
Card Grouping #1 – Quick and Easy Stamping Projects With Minimal Supplies
Let’s take a look at the first grouping of cards I created using just a few key supplies you may already have on hand. The card base is Real Red, measuring 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ for a classic, clean fold. The bold plaid background comes directly from the Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty Designer Series Paper, making it effortless to build a festive foundation for your design.
For the focal point, I used the Candy Cane image—one of the six printed images found on one of the 6 x 6 sheets. I cut each featured image layering this candy cane image onto a coordinating Real Red cardstock mat cut to 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. This simple layering step adds instant dimension without any complicated techniques, making it perfect for beginner stamping ideas.
To finish the card, I added one of the adhesive-backed sentiments from the Greetings for You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. With the sentiment already printed and ready to go, assembling this card truly becomes a quick and easy Christmas card that looks polished but requires very little time.
Card Grouping #2 – Quick and Easy Christmas Cards With Simple Details
For Grouping #2, I kept the process just as simple to continue with our theme of quick and easy Christmas cards. I started by cutting a piece of the designer series paper to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhered it directly to the Real Red card base. This instantly creates a beautiful backdrop without any stamping or advanced techniques—perfect for the beginner stamper.
To add a little extra charm, I drew a thin line down the center of the greenery swag at the top of the card front using my Real Red Stampin’ Blend. This gives the look of a hanging string, making it easy to “attach” the bells or ornaments. Each piece comes from the die-cut elements in the Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack, so everything coordinates beautifully with zero effort.
I finished the card with an adhesive-backed sentiment from the Greetings for You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and sprinkled on a few Traditional Sparkling Sequins for a festive touch. This grouping is another great example of how quick and easy stamping projects can still look polished and professional with just a handful of supplies.
Grouping #3 is truly perfect for a beginner stamper—simple, fast, and beautiful with almost no supplies needed.
Card Grouping #3 – The Ultimate Quick and Easy Stamping Project
Grouping #3 is truly the simplest—and quickest—of all the cards to create. All I did was cut down one of the designer series paper prints from the Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty Designer Series Paper to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhere it to the Real Red card base.
From there, I added one of the ready-made sentiments and finished the card with a few Traditional Sparkling Sequins. That’s it! This design is perfect if you need quick and easy Christmas cards in a hurry or if you’re looking for beginner stamping ideas that still look beautiful and polished.
Sometimes the simplest layout produces the most impressive results—and this grouping proves it.
