Blossom Punch Art

Saturday, May 26, 2012

This punch art sample isn’t new if you had the Occasions Mini catalog you would have seen this punch art idea on pg. 16. Here is my sample of the Blossom punch Butterfly punch art:

This was another card made in my Card Club last Monday night. We used the Mixed Bunch stamp set to stamp the flower image on Shimmery White card stock; then we punched it out using the Blossom punch #125603 $16.95. We then cut out 2 of the petals creating the look of the butterfly. We also punched a flower out of Riding Hood Red card stock; cut off 2 petals and popped up our butterfly image over the top. We used our bone folder to give the wings some dimension.

Recipe:
CS: Blushing bride, Basic Gray, Twitterpated DSP, Shimmery White
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Basic Gray
SS: Mixed Bunch, Sincere Salutations (Retiring)
Accessories: Blossom Punch, Rhinestone Jewels, Basic Gray Satin Ribbon (Retiring)

Only 5 more days remain to get these retiring products before they are gone for good!
