Card Club Kit Bonus Card With Forever Love Designer Series Paper

card club kit with designer series paper

This month in my Stamp Camp At Home Card Club Kit I’m featuring the Forever Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and today I have a Bonus card to share with you.  This particular card did not make it into the club kit, but it is a very pretty card.  When I design my cards for my club I create a few different versions and designs and then choose which I like best and those are the cards that are in my final kit.   Generally the cards that didn’t make the cut to be included in the kit are my bonus cards shown throughout the month.  If you are a Stamp Camp At Home Card Club Member you will find the PDF file for the Bonus cards in the Photo Gallery here on my blog.  Club members also receive the One Sheet Wonder pattern and download project sheets from Thursday night’s One Sheet Wonder class; they will also find them in the photo album here on my blog.

If you would like to join my club or have questions regarding my club; you can find out all the information in this blog post HERE.

The Forever Love Specialty Designer Series Paper is simply stunning with it’s gold foiling running through the print on one side and on the opposite side you have a regular print.  The colors that coordinate with this print are Very Vanilla, Moody Mauve, Pretty Peacock, Petal Pink and Gold Foil.  Most of my club cards are created with the Gold Foil and Very Vanilla with the Pretty Peacock prints from the pack, but I also included a Moody Mauve card and today’s bonus card is with Moody Mauve.  It just came down to which cards I wanted to include in the club kit.

For both this bonus card and the cards in the card club kit I brought in some other dies to help accent these beautiful flowers in the prints.  I did hand cut this Rose bouquet of flowers for my focal point to this card.  The gems are from the Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock foiled gems pack; which is part of the suite of products for the Forever Love suite collection.

The two different die sets that I used for my cards is the Scalloped Contour Dies and the New Thoughtful Expressions Dies from the mini catalog.  I love to interchange die sets with different stamp sets to show the versatility you can have with dies and that they are not just tied to one particular stamp set.

To tie the gold foiling from the paper into the card I used the gold foil for my mat piece and then I used the Simply Elegant Gold Trim for my bow on the bouquet.

I also wanted to give the background Very Vanilla pieces some texture, so I went with the Crosshatch embossing folder which is part of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders Online Exclusive pack.

My Customer Appreciation for March:

stamping special ribbon holders

My 3D printer has been buzzing getting ready for this months customer appreciation special.  Do you have a spot or a way of storing your ribbon and twine spools?  If not check out this combo ribbon/twine storage system.  My combo ribbon and twine holder will hold up to 7 spools of ribbon depending on the size of the spool and 4 spools of twine or thread.  This is perfect to sit on your desk and keep your spools in order and upright or place on a shelf.

Do you have the White Open Storage Cube from Stampin’ Up! with the Topper Storage?  If not you can check it out on page 124 of the annual catalog.  This is a cube that you can store ink pads, ribbon, adhesives, small embellishments and more.  I’ve taken my ribbon storage system and made them to fit inside the cube and with the topper storage you have the space on top to hold my ribbon storage system as well. (check out what I’m talking about in the photo below.). Yes the bottom ribbon storage system has the twine/thread spool holder inside; you will just need to slide it out of the cube to get at the spools when needed.

To get one of my Ribbon  holders you will need to place a min. $75.00 online order with me and use the host code.  If you would like two holders you will need to submit a min. $150.00 order and no need to use the host code.  I will send you the ribbon holder(s) free of charge.  I will however need you to email me with your color choice; baby blue, mint green,  or purple.  If I don’t hear from you or if you do not respond to my email regarding your ribbon holder, I will assume you do not want the holder.
