Card Stud or Wild Card

Thursday, March 12, 2009

I received my pre-order for the upcoming Occasions Mini yesterday and I had to make up a card using the Sketch Challenge from Splitcoast and one of my new stamp sets.? I am by no means a watercolorist and I tend to shy away from any outline image stamps, but I just had to have this set; it is just too darn cute to pass up!

Here is the Sketch Challenge Layout from Splitcoast:

?

Here are my 2 cards using this Sketch Challenge; Yes, I said 2 cards.? I made the first one and decided I wanted brighter colors so I changed it up to Red!

I thought the new Jackpot Designer Series Paper #113995 $9.95 went great with this Stamp.? If you notice on the DSP it has all card games written on it and the “CARD STUD” and “WILD CARD” were just screaming at me to go with this cute little old man.? The name of this new stamp set is called Golden Oldies #113712 $16.95 and will be available to purchase April 1st!?
