This week I’m featuring quick and easy Christmas Cards with A Walk In The Forest Designer Series Paper. It is a paper pack that gives back. You might be asking what are you talking about. This paper pack coordinates with the Beary Cute Bundle and the Merriest Trees Dies. The Beary Cute bundle has the bear punch that coordinates with some of the bears in the paper pack and the Merriest Trees dies coordinate with some of the trees in the paper pack. On today’s card I used the Sentiment from the Beary Cute stamp set and used the Stylish Shapes Dies to die cut out the sentiment and create the banner underneath the sentiment piece.
This card is very quick and easy! All I did was cut the paper 4″ X 5 1/4″ and attached it to the front of my Pretty Peacock card base and added the sentiment. You can’t get much quicker than that! There are many prints in this pack that you can do this with and you can have a pile of Christmas cards in no time! Great way to get a jump start on them this holiday season.
For the inside I added a piece of Basic White 4″ X 5 1/4″ and attached a strip of the A Walk in the Forest paper across the bottom edge.
To get the Pretty Peacock rhinestones all I did was color the rhinestones with my Pretty Peacock Dark Blend. This is a great way to get a jewel to match any cardstock colors and not have to purchase piles of jewels or gems. As long as you have the Blend color you want you are all set to have a jewel or gem in any color you desire.
