Clean and Simple Handmade Cards Using Embossing Folders

clean and simple handmade cards with adorning hearts embossing folders from the mini catalog

Create clean and simple handmade cards with the Adorning Hearts stamp set and Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folders for any occasion.  You don’t need to send cards with hearts just for Valentine’s Day.     Hearts can be for weddings, baby shower, baby announcements, anniversaries, birthday cards or even just because you are thinking of them.   Hearts don’t necessarily have to always be red and pink either.  I chose to do a rainbow of colors as my granddaughter’s are really into rainbow colors and unicorns.

Yes, Valentine’s Day is coming up this week and you can so use this bundle to create your Valentine’s Day cards, but I wanted to show you that there is more to this set than just Valentine’s.  Hearts are a symbol of love so any card you create with hearts is showing a symbol of your love in my book.

It is hard to see in the photo but the Adorning Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folders from the Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog will not only emboss the background and the hearts, but will also cut out the hearts at the same time.  One pass through your Cut & Emboss Machine and you have embossed and the hearts are all cut out.  This makes for a pile of hearts, and if you do like I did with this card you can create multiple cards in a flash.  If you didn’t want to create 6 of these cards you would have plenty of hearts to use for confetti.

I used the Silver pearls from the Festive Pearls pack to add a few here and there on the embossed background.  I also added a couple to the Just for You sentiment banner.  The banner die is part of the Adorning Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder bundle.
