Create Gift Card Holders With Warm Wishes Paper Pumpkin Kit

Paper Pumpkin Kit for November Into Gift Card Holders

Let’s Talk Paper Pumpkin Kits! Would you love to receive a surprise in the mail each and every month? Do you love to craft and create beautiful cards and projects? Look no further than these awesome kits. Today I’m going to show you what I did with the November Warm Wishes Kit which entailed creating treat holders, but I turned them into gift card holders using the optional Warm Wishes add-on card kit. Come on take a look.

First let me say I will show you the kit made up as it was intended to be, but I have to get some treats to fill the bags first.  They are super cute treat holders, but I personally don’t really need many of those anymore.  I used to give them to the bus drivers, school teachers, postal worker, and Sunday school teachers, but only need a few now.   So, when I looked at the kit I saw gift card holders.   One of the perks of being a Paper Pumpkin subscriber is you can purchase add-on kits that coordinate with the kit itself.  For November you could purchase the Warm Wishes card kit; which is what I used as the card bases for my gift card holders.  Now these aren’t your normal 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″ sized cards these cards are 5″ X 7″ but they also came with beautiful envelopes.  There were 20 cards & envelopes in the add-on kit and the price for those 20 cards was awesome!  Now the November kit is done and over with, but keep reading this blog post as I will give you a glimpse as to what is coming in the December kit.

Before I show you the inside of this card let me give you some tips.  The house on the front is the front side of the treat holder and all I did was cut it off at the score line.  I then cut off the back of the house and the additional roof.  I attached the front of the house to my card front and attach the second cut off roof to the top of my house using dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment using the Mossy Meadow ink spot that comes in the kit and die cut it out using the Stylish Shapes banner die.  I then added a strip of the cut off section of the treat holder to the backside and popped it up on the front of my card using dimensionals.

For the inside of the card I used the backside of the treat holder house and ran tear and tape around the outside and bottom edge creating a pocket for the gift card.  The sentiment I used in the card is from the Night Divine stamp set, which by the way is on the retired list.  To view the retired list and carry over list for this mini catalog keep reading this blog post or visit the Specials page here on my blog.

This is the second house in the kit which I did in the same exact manner as the first gift card holder.    This house is a taller house than the first one, so it does cover up the moon image on the card front but I was okay with that.  Both are simply beautiful, and did I mention that the card bases have a glittery snow scene to the match the snow on the houses?  It doesn’t show well in the photos, but it is really pretty in person, and it is not only on the front but on the backside as well.

For the inside on this one; the only difference is I added the Special Delivery sentiment to the house; it fit perfectly between the two floors of windows.

How easy were those to create?  So easy!  In a matter of minutes you can create these fun and adorable gift card holders to share with the special people in your life or your children’s lives.

I hope I have sold you on these awesome kits.  I gave my granddaughter Sophia a years subscription to these kits and she just loves seeing those little boxes come in the mail each month.  She gets excited because she gets mail, but also because she loves to craft and she knows these are her crafting kits.  Christmas is coming, just saying! 🙂

My Customer Appreciation for November:

handmade cards designer series paper

This month’s customer appreciation features handmade cards and a pack of designer series paper. You choose which pack you would like to receive all occasion or all Christmas cards. Which will you choose?

As you probably already know every Thursday night on my YouTube Channel “The Stamp Camp” I go live with a One Sheet Wonder class.  Now sometimes it is just 1 card and other times it is piles of cards.  Doing this every week sure builds up a supply of cards in no time at all; so, what to do with them is always a concern.  I’ve donated piles of cards to local organizations, and I still have piles left.  Not to mention my piles of designer series paper.  I pretty much purchase all the different paper packs because I do love a good one sheet wonder but that also leaves me with piles of designer paper as well.

So with that being said, this month is a twofer.  What is that?  It means not only will you receive a package of 10 cards from me but also a 6 x 6 package of designer series paper.  The Christmas Card bundle will have 12 cards in the pack as it is a slightly smaller pack of designer paper.

How do you get this package of Handmade Cards & Designer Series Paper Bundle?

All you need to do is place a min. $60.00 order with me and you must use the host code: VDTQYTY6

Remember you MUST use the Host Code unless your order is over $150.00, then do NOT use the host code and you will receive the host benefits, plus a package.  (I’ll send you an email regarding shipping of the package).

Once you have placed your order with me, I will email you and ask which type of bundle you would like to receive All Occasion or All ChristmasNOTE: I am OUT OF CHRISTMAS designer series paper SO if you would like all Christmas Cards you will still get 12 cards and an All Occasion bundle.  I will then send you a PayPal invoice for $5.00 to cover the cost of shipping.  The 6 x 6 paper packs of All Occasion have approximately 1/2″ – 3/4″ thick of designer papers and the Christmas packs are approximately 1/2″ thick of designer papers, but I’ve also included 2 more cards in the pack.
