Downline Challenge/Plus Another Card in the Mail!

Last night was my monthly downline meeting and last month I challenged my girls to make a card using the Stampin’ Up! layout found in the September Issue of the Stampin’ Success Magazine.?

The Stampin’ Success Magazine is a Magazine Stampin’ Up! sends out every month to each of its Demonstrators.? Inside each issue are wonderful samples, business tips and ideas, techniques, card layouts and contest categories we can enter to Win; “What Else Free Stamp Sets”.? I love getting this magazine in the mail and look it over many times, tabbing different samples, ideas etc. for upcoming classes or events.? Here is my take on the Sketch Challenge:

Stampin' Up! Sketch Challenge

This was actually stamped and painted a couple of weeks ago when I was experimenting with the Shimmer Paints and the Re-inkers.? You can see my post here with all the details.? I cut out the image but hadn’t done anything with it until last night.? I didn’t have my challenge done yet and the girls would be coming to the meeting soon; What to do?? I saw this laying on the shelf and thought perfect!? A few minutes later and the challenge was complete!

Recipe:
CS:? Basic Black, Bashful Blue, Apricot Appeal, Watercolor Card stock
Inks:? Bashful Blue and Apricot Appeal Reinkers, Craft Whisper White, Craft Basic Black
SS:? Holy Family, Four the Holidays
Accessories:? Black Embosssing powder, White Embossing powder, heat gun, Big shot, Stampin’ Up! Perfect Details Texturz plate, Champagne Shimmer Paint, Frost White Shimmer Paint, Paint brush, Bashful Blue Grosgrain Ribbon, Circle Scissors

I’ll be posting all the girls who participated in the challenge cards tomorrow, so come back and take a look see at all the beautiful cards done using the same layout.? I know they will all be different and fantastic!

Isn’t this a simple and cute festive card!? I received this card from Sue?who is in my downline.? I love how she used the punches to create her pumpkin.? Way to think outside the box!? Love it!
