Now that you know how to download the project sheet, let’s take a closer look at these three beautiful cards.
The first two cards I created follow the same design, with just one small difference—the snowflakes on the front. One card features two stacked snowflakes, while the other has three. It really comes down to personal preference: do you like the look of two snowflakes or three?
I’ve made this fun fold card before, but this time I added an extra diamond-shaped sentiment layer behind the one on the front. That simple addition gives you more room to express your message and lets you share just how much the recipient means to you.
In the photo above, you can see both cards side by side—the card on the left features three snowflakes, while the card on the right has just two. It’s a small difference, so it really comes down to your personal preference.
For all of these cards, I used the coordinating Delicate Pines Bundle, which I highly recommend with this paper pack. The die set includes so many shapes that perfectly match the paper, making die-cutting quick and easy. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a paper pack with so many matching dies! To add a little extra sparkle and shine, I also included the beautiful Faceted Snowflakes, which really elevate these fun fold cards.
When the card is fully opened, you can see the two diamond-shaped focal pieces along with the inside of the card where I stamped a coordinating snowflake to tie everything together. If you have the Delicate Pines Bundle, be sure to stamp your envelopes too! It adds a fun surprise for the recipient and makes the envelopes just as festive and special as the cards themselves.
For the final card of the night, I created the card on the left during the video, and I also showed how I fixed a little mistake with the card on the right. While making my prototype for the class, I accidentally stamped the sentiment incorrectly, so I had to cover it up. Here’s how I fixed it: I took a strip of Pretty Peacock cardstock and adhered it over the misplaced sentiment, then stamped the sentiment onto a strip of Basic White cardstock and placed it on top. Problem solved!
On the card I created during the video, the sentiment was stamped directly onto the card front. After seeing both, I actually find myself liking the “whoopsie” card just a little more. Which one do you like best?
As the saying goes, there are no mistakes in stamping—just more opportunities to embellish!
