Get Creative Use Stampin’ Supplies to Create a 4th of July Card

Happy 4th of July

I hope you have a safe and fun 4th of July with your family and friends.   What day did you get off from work this year?  Did you have to go to work today or did you get today and tomorrow off?  When you are self employed you have the decision to make whether you are working or not working.  I generally do not post on Tuesday’s so I decided to continue with my routine and post my card today and tomorrow I’ll keep with tradition and send out my newsletter.  Yes, I have added blog post in here and there but since I decided to take a few days off I decided to keep with my scheduled post and share my 4th of July card with you today.

What supplies did I use to create today’s card?

When I decided to create a card for today I had to get inventive.  We do not have a stamp set for this occasion so I pulled a few dies, stamp sets and accessories to create this card.  I also brought in the retired Starlit punch for the stars in the square.  Sometimes it is fun to see what you can come up with; with the supplies you have on hand.  You might just be surprised what you can do.

I knew I wanted some flowing stripes so how to go about getting those?  I looked through my dies and found the Around the Bend Dies #160649.  The little wavy scalloped edge punch would do the trick.  My card base is the thick Basic White and I cut a piece of  Real Red cardstock the same size and went to town die cutting it into stripes, I saved the top and bottom stripe and added in a stripe for the center.  For the Night of Navy square I used the Stylish Shapes dies.

Now how do I go about getting a Happy 4th of July sentiment?  Well I used the Biggest Wish stamp set #155052 which is where I got the Happy sentiment from.  I decided to emboss it using the white embossing powder.  Now for the number?  That came from the Alphabet A La Mode dies #160750 and to get the th part I used a white chalk pen which we used to sell.

That’s it!  Like I said sometimes it is fun to use the supplies you have in your craft room and see what you can come up with.  Give it a try!

How do you receive this mini tool caddy?

Place a minimum $50.00 online order with me (before shipping and tax) and use this host code: Q9HARHDY

Just pay the Shipping

Once I have received your order I’ll send you a PayPal invoice for the shipping of the mini tool caddy.  Depending on your area code the price will vary.   I will send it in a padded envelope to the address used when you placed your order.

Why am I charging for shipping this time when last month I sent the mono glue holders for free?
– Trial and error on my part; if this is a business for me I need to make a profit on my sales and not give away everything.
– By sending you a PayPal invoice for the shipping I know for a fact that you wanted to receive the gift, if payment is not received in 2 days I’ll cancel the invoice and will know you wish not to receive the mini tool caddy.
– Not only will this help to insure me that you wanted the free gift but will help in keeping the minimum order amount at a lower price point.

Can I purchase a Mini Tool Caddy?

–  I will not be selling any of my Mono Glue Holders, Large Tool Caddy’s or the Mini Tool Caddy’s.  You can earn these for FREE with my Stamp Camp Rewards.  See my Rewards page HERE.
