A Very Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone!

We are celebrating at home this year and my parents are coming over for dinner.

I had just one request from my Mom and that was can we make cards after dinner. Well duh Yeah! She wants Birthday cards and Anniversary cards so we will be mass producing some cards for her to take down to Texas with them. They go every year to Mission, Texas for the Winter.

Speaking of Texas you are probably wondering how our trip went. If you tuned in last month to my Live Event then I told you my husband, oldest son (Will) and I were heading to Dallas TX for a week. Will wants to move there; he is sick of Michigan winters and has always wanted to live in Texas.

Well 4 days before we were set to leave I saw a lump on the back of Will’s dogs leg. He brought her to the vet the next day and it is cancer. Will bought Cassie when he was 18 and he’s 27 now so yes Cassie is getting old but she is Will’s baby. Cassie had surgery 2 day’s before we were set to leave; surgery went well but they could not get all the cancer. Now he has a tough decision on what treatments to take all are very expensive and luckily it is a very slow growing cancer.

While all this was going on I found out that my identity was stollen and I spent two days on the phone trying to get everything taken care of. What a mess and scary as well.

Well that’s not all they say everything happens in 3’s right? Well Dean came home from school sick.

Yup, there was no way we were getting on that plane; just too many reason’s why we shouldn’t go.

We did end up going but only for 2 days so I could attend the Stampin’ Up! event and Bill and Will got to drive around to the different towns in the Dallas area so Will could at least get a feel for the area he’s looking at.

Sometimes life throws you a curve ball. Sometimes you get more than one curve ball at a time.

This is when you need to reflect on the good and be thankful for all that God has given you. We have our health, we have our family and friends and life is good even with a curve ball thrown in now and then.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Blessings to You and Your Family!
