Technique Tuesday – Let’s try the spotlighting technique with the Ornate Style stamp set.
Have you tried the Spotlight technique yet? This is an oldie but a goodie technique and today I chose the Ornate Style stamp set and the layering circles dies for my spotlighting.
You can do this technique with a variety of stamp sets but I decided to go with a bigger image and do a couple of spotlights in different areas of the stamped image.

The spotlighting technique is a great way to add color to your stamped image without having to color the entire stamped image. I like the contrast of the black and white with a pop of color. With the pop of color here and there you can almost imagine what it would look like fully colored in but without actually doing it.
I used a variety of the different colored Stampin’ Blends to color in my spotlight image.
