Nine One Sheet Wonder Cards with Petal Park Bundle

Petal Park bundle one sheet wonder cards

During Thursday night’s live class I showed how to get Nine cards from just one sheet of 6 x 6 designer series paper from Stampin’ Up! You will be amazed at how beautiful these cards turned out with just a little piece of the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper and the Petal Park Bundle.

Are you looking for a simple way to create beautiful cards that are fast and easy to make? If so, you’ll love this article! I’ll show you how to make nine stunning cards from just one sheet of 6 x 6 designer series paper from Stampin’ Up!

These are the nine cards I created last night during the live class.  This combination of the Bundle and Designer Paper were used in my Stamp Set of the Month Class this month.  Class participants will receive the One Sheet Wonder pattern and the download for the card measurements and supplies.    All class kits were mailed out yesterday and this Download and Pattern will be posted today in my Photo Gallery.

I also shared a few other prints from the Designer Series Paper pack and I’ve showcased them below in this blog as well.

Let’s take a look at these three first.  I created 3 different layouts and created 3 of each layout for a total of nine cards.  You can create all nine cards the same if you like or 3 different ways like I did.   On two of the layouts I added the Basic White panel behind the designer series paper and on one I just attached them to the card front.  To get my placement I did some sketches on my grid paper which you will see in the video.

If you missed. yesterday’s post about the retiring products from the mini and the annual catalog you might want to check that out.  You can view it HERE.

Last night I featured a few of the ink colors that are being retired; so if they are on your wish list you may want to order them soon!

These are the retiring colors that I used:
– Evening Evergreen
– Mint Macaron
– Merry Merlot

This goes for all the items or products that have these colors in them, so cardstock, designer series papers, markers, blends, etc. are all retiring in those colors.

Now let’s check out some of the other prints I used from the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!

This print has 2 colors in it; the Petal Pink and a small stripe of Sweet Sorbet.  So when I stamped the flowers I used the outline image with the Sweet Sorbet and the Petal Pink in for the solid images.    These one sheet wonder cards were my prototype to see if my idea in my head was possible and it sure was!  I Think each set of cards turned out beautifully.  I do however think these particular layouts need the scalloped contour dies in order to pull off the beautiful affect that the designer series paper spans the entire card front.

I’m also saddened to see my Pearls are on the retired list!  I love these and really can’t believe they are taking them away.  You can do so much with these Pearls.  Leave them as is or color them with the different color Blends.

The sentiment on these cards is part of the Sentimental Park Bundle which is also on the retired list but, will be carried over into the New Annual Catalog expect that it will NOT be bundled; you will need to purchase the die set and stamp set separately just like the Petal Park Bundle is on the retired list but will be in the New Annual Catalog you will just need to purchase the stamp set and punch separately.  So why not save 10% and purchase those bundle now while they are bundled?

On this card I used the Night of Navy and Balmy Blue inks for the flowers and the Balmy Blue Gingham print.  I also changed things up a bit and used the Basics 3D Embossing Folders mainly the one I call the cross hatch folder on the basic white piece on the front.  This pack of embossing folders is not available to order at this time and it is an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE ONLY product but, it is set to be back into the warehouse the week of May 1st.

I also changed things up on this card by using only the larger flower and bundled it up on the front with dimensionals.  This is so soft and pretty and would work for so many different occasions.
